XPO Logistics extends collaboration with Sealed Air

Multinational packaging leader Sealed Air Corporation has renewed its long-term agreement with XPO Logistics for warehousing and distribution services in the UK.

Sealed Air Corporation’s portfolio of widely recognised brands includes Cryovac® food packaging solutions, Bubble Wrap® cushioning material and Diversey® cleaning and hygiene solutions. The company has approximately 23,000 employees in 169 countries committed to supporting a safer and less wasteful food supply chain, protecting valuable goods during shipment, and improving health through clean environments.

XPO Logistics is responsible for Sealed Air’s logistics operations in the UK, including the warehousing of finished goods, the national distribution of both packed and bulk products, and cross-dock distribution to the Republic of Ireland.

XPO Logistics’ 180,000 sq. ft. upper-tier COMAH warehouse at Amber Park serves as both a national distribution centre for Diversey’s nearby manufacturing operation and a national parts centre for the company’s range of Taski floor cleaning machines. The company provides a range of value-added services within the shared-capacity warehouse, including machine battery fitting and the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials. A dedicated transportation fleet, supplemented by XPO Logistics‘ national ADR network, serves the distribution operation.
