Collaborations with LXE and Psion Teklogix offer users additional choices and flexibility for implementing Vocollect Voice in supply chain environments
Pittsburgh, USA and London UK; 15 January 2008 - Vocollect, Inc., the world leader in Voice-Directed Work, today announced successful collaboration with two leading handheld and wearable device suppliers aimed at delivering on its strategy to make its highly successful Vocollect Voice applications available on multiple devices and platforms.

Recently the company joined forces with LXE, the leading manufacturer of rugged wireless computers that improve supply chain performance, as a strategic voice collaborator. "Our leading portfolio has been further strengthened with the addition of Vocollect Voice for the LXE MX7 handheld and LXE HX2 wearable devices," said Byford.
Vocollect's collaboration with partner Psion Teklogix (PTX) on the jointly developed WORKABOUT PRO-Voice multi-purpose data collection terminal ported with Vocollect Voice has equipped 630 workers last autumn at the UK retail giant Wilkinson. 2007 also saw the introduction of Vocollect Voice on to two Motorola platforms, the MC9090 rugged mobile computer and the Motorola WT4000 series of wearable computers.
