Vehicle tracking provider Navman Wireless, opens a new Scotland office

Navman Wireless, the UK's largest provider of vehicle tracking, has opened a new office in Scotland as part of its ongoing programme of expansion.

The company's regional HQ, located in East Kilbride, Glasgow, will help bolster its rapid sales growth in the Scottish market and support its established customer base across the country.

The move comes hot on the heels of the company - which operates worldwide across four continents - announcing impressive financial figures which marked a substantial increase in profits.

"Navman Wireless has successfully conducted business with Scottish fleet operators over a number of years but this new office will help us offer our services to a wider business audience," said Executive Vice President, Tony Neill.

"The move underlines our commitment to investing in our UK operations and customers."

The office will be headed up by new national sales manager Robert Lamont who brings more than 10 years of industry experience to Navman Wireless. He is joined by experienced sales support colleagues Graeme Scott and Nicola Lamont.

Additional recruits are expected to join the Navman Wireless Scotland team in the coming weeks. Navman Wireless is also set to announce further worldwide expansion plans.

Robert added: "Navman Wireless technology is at the fore of the vehicle tracking industry and with the recent addition of the privacy function, enabling drivers to hide their non-business mileage, we can expect to see increasing take-up in both the commercial vehicle and sales fleet markets."
