LPW Truckwash, which has created the UK's first ever network of Truckwash sites, has expanded its market following an agreement with ReD Fuels to allow their customers to use their cards as payment for vehicle washes.
The deal, which gives Essex-based LPW Truckwash additional access to over 325,000 ReD Fuels card holders, is a major boost for the company which is investing over £2.2 million over the next 18 months to establish a network of more than 50 Truckwash sites strategically located at motorway service areas across the country.
The partnership with ReD Fuels, whose customer database are all B2B clients, is part of an on-going relationship with LPW Truckwash, which has a pedigree of over 35 years in the commercial vehicle cleaning industry.
ReD Fuels, which has a company policy of providing value added benefit to its giant customer base, will invoice their customers direct after they have paid for a Truckwash by card rather than cash.
The major fuel card organisation has access to 900 fuel sites in the UK and the agreement with LPW Truckwash, which involves full reporting and control of transactions, will almost certainly lead to additional business for the vehicle cleaning company. ReD Fuels will also be including LPW Truckwash and its locations in the company's site directory.
Laurie Moon, Chairman of LPW Truckwash, commenting on the new agreement with ReD Fuels said: "This is a major boost for the LPW Truckwash network, which already has over 25 sites in operation and has recently opened three new Truckwash sites at Welcome Break South Mimms services on the M25, Ulceby Truckstop, Immingham and Welcome Break Burtonwood sevices on the M62.
"To add such a respected organisation as ReD Fuels to our database, with their many thousands of B2B customers, is absolutely fantastic. They have a policy of looking for partners where they can create mutual benefit and added value for their customers.
"Their card holders will no longer have the inconvenience of having to use cash for their vehicle washes. The use of their card will be far more efficient and speed up the process of having their vehicle cleaned," he said.
LPW Truckwash has already clinched deals with Welcome Break and Road Chef to provide Truckwash services at their motorway service areas.
Major customers already include large fleets such as Wincanton, DHL, TDG, and Eddie Stobart to name but a few.
New Truckwash sites are planned in the near future at Welcome Break Birchanger Services on the M11 at Stanstead Airport, Corley service on the M6 near Coventry and at Oxford Services on the M40.
