In this day and age, an employee celebrating 25-years service with a company is becoming a rarity. Imagine then, a company with nine employees all celebrating 25 years service. This was the case with the Meachers Group, which recently held a celebration to present long service awards to employees.
In appreciation of 25 years of service, Meachers organised a reception for the staff, which included Clive Broadley, Managing Director of Oast Agencies, Richard Lambourne, Group Director, Elaine Terris, Personnel Manager and Rob Lewis, General Manager of Oast Agencies. Awards were also presented to Traffic Manager, Terry Donovan, drivers, Ben Bennett and Nobby Scott, warehouseman Barry Davies and Pam Chapman who is employed at Oast Agencies.
Making the presentations, Bob Terris, Managing Director of the Meachers Group said: "These awards emphasise the loyalty of our workforce and the tremendous experience and knowledge we have throughout the Meachers Group."
Over the past 25 years Meachers has changed dramatically and now has an operation in Derby as well as Southampton.
