Turkington Industries, an engineering company specialising in the supply of advanced automation systems primarily to the bakery industries, has joined ABB's Robotic Partner Network. The company designs, builds, tests and commissions bespoke automated systems for a wide range of applications, including tray de-panning, strap handling, second packaging and palletising.
With an established global operation, Turkington Industries based in Burley, Lancashire is one of the latest companies to participate in the ABB Global Partner Program and is now equipped to extend their offer to include robot-based automation. The partnership will see both companies working together on projects to utilise ABB's extensive range of robotic solutions. In addition, Turkington Industries will be provided with sales, marketing, technical, application and service support as well as software training for all employees.
Turkington Industries bespoke systems are of the highest quality seen in the food industry and are designed and built for use in both high risk and low risk areas of food industry processing.
