Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (NYSE: VPG) today announced that TruckWeigh and VanWeigh® overload monitoring systems, and Road Guardian portable weigh pads from its PM Onboard brand are now available from the Freight Transport Association's (FTA) online store.
The FTA represents the transport interests of over 14,000 companies. It is one of the largest and most prestigious trade associations in the United Kingdom, with members moving goods by road, rail, sea, and air. The FTA also provides members with services that help them to operate safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally sustainable way.
Providing the FTA's customers with high-accuracy overload monitoring and payload maximization, PM Onboard's TruckWeigh system is specifically designed for larger capacity vehicles up to 60 tonne, while the VanWeigh system is designed for twin-axle vehicles up to 7.5 tonne. For commercial safety programs, the Road Guardian wheel load weigher is a self-contained, low-profile weighing platform.
