Thomas Hardie Used Trucks now offer unprecedented Triple Warranty Scheme

Cheshire-based Thomas Hardie Used Trucks has become the latest retailer to offer ‘Volvo Selected’ trucks; as the unprecedented and now prestigious warranty has been awarded to several units from its premium range. Many other units have also been bestowed Volvo’s mid-range warranty ‘Volvo Approved’; a status awarded to trucks of ‘very good’ quality as per Volvo’s notoriously strict standards.

The Volvo warranties, introduced in early March, are a market-leading move from the Swedish marque; a sign of the confidence that it clearly holds in the quality of its second-hand vehicles.

Jonathan Bownes ‘Volvo Selected’ sees trucks of the highest quality awarded a 24-month Driveline Warranty (or up to 360,000km mileage from the date or purchase) covering owners against failures and repairs. These units undergo a 200-point inspection check to ensure they meet Volvo’s strict standards; and several of them are ready to be snapped up at Thomas Hardie Used Trucks’ supersite in Middlewich.

A ‘Volvo Approved’ used truck has been identified by Volvo as being of ‘very good quality’. These units come with a 12-month Volvo Driveline Warranty, and as with the 24-month guarantee, this is included in the price of the truck. There is also a ‘Volvo Economy’ warranty which will cover a used truck for 30 days from the day of purchase.

These warranties, together with Volvo’s comprehensive inspection and pre-delivery preparation, mean that any buyer will have made a safe choice when opting to purchase a used vehicle.
