There is a Storm coming in a Mercedes Benz van
Liverpool-based dance group Boogie Storm are flying high aboard their new three-pointed starship, an eye-catching Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer.
The hard-working troupe wowed judges on last yearâs âBritainâs Got Talentâ TV talent show by performing in movie-inspired full body armour. Their stunning science-fiction routines took them through to the grand final, in which they finished a creditable third.
Since then the groupâs career has rocketed, as demand from corporate clients, charity groups and fans just keeps on growing. Dancers are now travelling between promotional and charity gigs all over the country in their smart new nine-seater.
Quickly dubbed âthe Boogie Busâ, the Vito is on loan from Mercedes-Benz Vans. As a 114 BlueTEC model, it is powered by an advanced 2.1-litre diesel which offers outstanding economy of up to 44.1 mpg in the combined cycle.
Boogie Storm founder and Director Lee Seddon said: âWe could be appearing at a prestigious public event or high-profile commercial gathering one day, and visiting sick children in hospital the next. Wherever weâre going, we know that thanks to our Mercedes-Benz van weâll arrive in safety and style.â
The group relied previously on hired vehicles. âNot only does the Vito allow us to move at short notice,â continued Lee, âbut it also means that for the first time we can advertise our brand when weâre out on the road.
âThe Vito looks great in our graphics and has already become an important part of the team. The show starts for spectators as soon as they see our van pull up, so itâs an integral part of the display. We also get loads of people taking smartphone pictures whenever we take it out anywhere.â
First registered in 2015, the Vito was prepared to the same exacting standards as all pre-owned vans remarketed under the Mercedes-Benz Approved Used banner. It was handed over to Boogie Storm outside Roanza Vanâs smart new retail showroom in Derby Road, Liverpool â the Dealer will also be maintaining the vehicle in its fully equipped workshop.
The Vito is still backed by its original three-year, unlimited mileage warranty. Like all vans maintained within the manufacturerâs official UK Dealer Network, it also came with MobiloVan cover, which includes free emergency roadside assistance.
