Leading specialist vehicle supplier Terberg DTS (UK) Ltd announced that it has placed a major order with JBT AeroTech for the provision of 8 of their Commander Loader ground support vehicles that are scheduled to go into service for a major UK blue-chip company.
This substantial multi vehicle order, with a contract value in excess of £1.6 million, was signed on the opening day of the recent Inter Airport Europe exhibition in Munich, Germany, and will see Terberg DTS deliver the JBT Commando Loaders in early 2014, to two different locations in the UK as part of a long-term contract with the end customer.
Inclusive of this contract, factory trained Terberg DTS staff will be supporting the JBT Commander Loaders on a 24/7/365 basis and as Terberg DTS's Managing Director Alisdair Couper says, "The JBT Commander Loaders are recognised to be a very highly specified product that fully satisfies the end user's stringent health and safety requirements. During the contract negotiations, JBT and Terberg DTS have worked closely together with the end customer, to ensure that the final product specification meets their detailed contract requirements."
