TDL Equipment grows team and centralises Parts Division

TDL Equipment, the official UK distributor of Terex(r) heavy line construction equipment, Atlas(r) material handlers and Genie(r) compact telehandlers, has recently announced the appointment of three new sales managers who are dedicated to supporting the organisation's customer base in the UK.

Paul Dolan joined TDL as sales manager for the south west of England, south Wales and West Midlands on Monday 20th August and will be responsible for selling the full range TDL's new and used equipment in that area. Paul joins the TDL team from Liebherr.

From Monday 10th September, Jason Davey also joined the organisation as sales manager. He will perform the same role as Mr Dolan but will be responsible for the south east of England. Jason joins TDL from Bomag and has also previously worked for Komatsu.

In June of this year, TDL's Scottish operations were boosted by the appointment of sales manager Kenny Price who, having previously worked as a product manager for the Terex truck factory in Motherwell, Scotland, brings with him more than 13 years' experience of the construction and manufacturing industries.

To further strengthen its after-sales support, TDL recently centralised all of its Terex, Atlas and Genie parts by moving them to Tankersley, near Sheffield. The TDL parts stock is now conveniently located near the M1 which makes delivery to customers even quicker. At TDL, ninety-nine per cent of parts are shipped on the same day they are ordered.

Andy Oxley, TDL's Parts Logistics and Sales Manager, commented: "We are always looking at ways of improving our support operations to meet customer needs. The centralisation of our parts distribution makes perfect sense as it's now closer to the main transport links which will make delivery and collection easier and quicker."
