SWR, the UK's only waste management company with specialist recycling services designed specifically for the automotive industry, has won the waste contract to supply Solus Accident Repair Centres.
Solus is of the leading accident repair groups in the UK, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Aviva Plc. With 19 accident repair centres in the UK, Solus repair vehicles for some of the largest insurance companies, brokers and motor fleets in the UK, repairing over 48,000 vehicles each year.
SWR has already identified significant operational efficiencies which have led to a considerable reduction in Solus' waste costs. The waste management process is now far more streamlined, and recycling performance greatly improved.
Administration is also much simplified as SWR now manages all waste streams under a single contract and a 'one stop shop' for billing and day to day enquiries.
