Supply chain solutions providers SBS Worldwide and Swiss company Tibbett & Britten Unique are proud to announce they have entered into an agency agreement.
The agreement sees SBS Worldwide offering Tibbett & Britten Unique's services covering Switzerland.
Tibbett & Britten Unique operates 3,500sq metres of bonded and non-bonded warehousing facilities close to Zurich International Airport.
The company provides a full range of services to handle goods quickly, efficiently, and economically. It offers LCL and FCL cargoes, air freight and ocean freight, Customs Brokerage, warehousing and distribution. It is also a member of IATA, FIATA and the Swiss Forwarders Association.
Lars Kloch, SBS Worldwide, CEO, said: "Switzerland has the world's 14th largest economy by nominal Gross Domestic Product per capita, it is the world's 18th largest exporter and 19th largest importer and it is located in the heart of Europe.
"Therefore, we have recently undertaken a review of our partner network in Switzerland to ensure our offering meets the needs of customers operating in this important country.
"Following this in-depth review, we are delighted to announce the signing of a strategic agreement with Tibbett & Britten Unique."
The deal is the third strategic agreement SBS Worldwide has signed over the last 12 months, following on from Capricorn Logistics covering the Indian market and Sifte Berti for Italy.
The new agreements are in line with the company's growth ambitions which centre on its ability to offer high-end supply chain solutions backed by leading software and the extensive market knowledge.
Its partners need to be able to offer the same advanced supply chain operations in their core markets so that SBS Worldwide can ensure its service levels are maintained in all the markets it covers.
