Sovex Sales on a High with Sean Reed

Sovex, the leading conveyor manufacturer, welcomes Sean Reed into its Sales & Marketing department. Keen and quick to learn, Sean has risen swiftly through the ranks since joining the company two years ago as a shop floor operative. In his new role as Business Development Manager, he will visit customers, produce quotes and secure orders.

Just 22 years old, Sean previously worked as a Maintenance Engineer for a special effects company. He recently completed a Level 3 City & Guilds course in computer-aided design (CAD), which has led to him assisting in the Sovex drawing office with the planning and layout of proposed conveyor systems. This experience will be valuable to Sean in his new sales position.

David Lindfield, Managing Director at Sovex, is delighted; "Sean works extremely hard and fully deserves this promotion. He has an excellent understanding of Sovex's products and terrific people skills, which will stand him in good stead in his new role. Sean is building a portfolio of customers and his order book looks impressive - I have the utmost confidence in him."

Sean Reed compliments Steve Nuttall, Sovex's new Sales Director. The two have already established a professional working relationship and plan to take Sovex's conveyors and storage systems to customers based outside of the UK. Inquiries are flowing in and production is at an all time high.

Speaking from Sovex's Prenton headquarters, Sean commented; "This is a big break for me. I want to further myself professionally and the company has been incredibly supportive. The Sovex product range is phenomenal and I am enjoying presenting it to new customers. I am also relishing the challenges of my new role, such as handling the administrative side to the business."
