The Recycling Champions Awards
The Recycling Champions Award recognises the achievements of the individuals behind the recycling success of their overall organisations
Severnside's national commercial manager, Tim Price, said: "We are extremely excited for this year's awards ceremony. It is a privilege for us to work with the organisations that have been nominated and it is a great to be able to bring so many like-minded, environmentally-aware individuals together for what promises to be a fantastic day.
"The addition of the new award categories represents the advancements in recycling and waste management that are being made, and we are looking forward to working with our clients to achieve further successful sustainability and environmental performance."
Businesses which take the initiative to develop sustainable waste management and recycling systems help demonstrate that sustainable waste management practice has positive effects on the environment and their bottom line and the SARAs give recognition for this.
This year the awards continue to focus on the individuals and organisations which have gone the extra mile to make recycling a success, achieve landfill diversion and deliver significant improvements to how waste is viewed and handled internally.
