Ram Board hard floor protection from Trio Plus shipped off to Singapore

Trio Plus' award-winning temporary hard floor protector, Ram Board will be shipped off to Singapore this weekend following successful trials with industrial over manufacturer, Hedinair. The Ram Board consignment will accompany a number of Hedinair ovens to the tropical Asian islands, where it will be put to work protecting the floors of a Rolls Royce plant when its new machinery is installed next month.

Based in Essex, Hedinair design, manufacture and install industrial ovens of all shapes and sizes, from small batch ovens to custom built production conveyorised versions for tasks such as paint testing and tray drying. As a producer of ovens for aerospace, defence and heat treatment, it is vastly experienced working with large scale installs.

With its custom made ovens weighing over 6 tonnes and requiring the presence of fork lift trucks, Hedinair trialled a roll of Ram Board from Trio Plus as a means of protecting the expensive floors at Rolls Royce while installation is completed. The US-made Ram Board hard floor protector passed its tests with flying colours and will be packed into a container with the ovens ready for use in Asia.

Made entirely from recycled materials, Ram Board was designed to withstand the weight of forklifts and other materials used commonly on US construction sites. In addition to use in housing projects, it has been employed extensively on Hollywood film sets as a temporary floor protection product and is popular with large scale commercial applications including five-star hotel renovations. Its layers of cardboard, paper, ply-fibers and reinforcers are tough, durable and water resistant.

Supplied on rolls, Ram Board's breathable layer allows new floors to cure and once fixed in place, will stay flat and true making it completely safe for use in even the busiest of environments. It is ideal for covering large areas of floor quickly. As a tough temporary floor protector, it provides a virtually impenetrable barrier between anything that could damage a floor and the flooring material itself. It can be used to protect valuable and hard floors as well as concrete, wood, tile and stone.
