Workspace installation specialist, Welconstruct has completed a heavy duty pallet storage scheme at British Gypsum's Sherburn-in-Elmet factory near Leeds, the site of the company's new state-of the art plasterboard manufacturing facility.
Welconstruct's business development manager, Graham Butler, says, "Pallet storage is the most widely used system in the warehouse because of its versatility. Using our design service capabilities to calculate loads; we produced a system which was appropriate to British Gypsum's needs, with capacities of up to 1800 kg per pallet position to store manufactured plasterboard. The system also included a cantilever design for double and single sided storage to maximise storage capacity within the warehouse."
