Quartix vehicle tracking teams up with the Groupauto network

Leading vehicle tracking supplier Quartix has announced a new partnership with Groupauto in France. Groupauto is one of the major European players in the distribution of spare parts and services for cars, light vans, trucks and commercial vehicles, and operates in 40 countries including the UK.

With Quartix, the distributors that are part of the network in France can now offer a comprehensive vehicle-tracking system to their customers at a very competitive price. The system offered by the distributors, Quartix's InfoPlus option, is entirely available online and offers a wide range of services: real-time tracking with Google Maps; daily, weekly and monthly Excel reports via email and online; geofencing and vehicle maintenance alerts; driver identification; and the Driving Style Monitoring suite which analyses driving in a view to making it more economical, ecological and safe.

Quartix vehicle tracking is used by businesses from all sectors, and its unit can be installed on all types of vehicles including cars, vans, HGVs as well as motorbikes and most plant vehicles. The system enables businesses to make considerable fuel savings (typically from 15% to 20%), to improve customer service and be more responsive, to encourage a better on-road performance from their drivers, to locate a stolen vehicle, to justify schedules and overtime and optimise the utilisation of their fleet.

Andy Walters, managing director of Quartix, is looking forward to the development of the new partnership: "We are delighted to work with the Groupauto network and to enable their members to offer quality vehicle tracking at a competitive price, whilst developing Quartix throughout Europe."
