Pell Frischmann 80th anniversary

Pell Frischmann announces that it is celebrating 80 years in multi-disciplinary engineering. Established in 1926, the consultancy has a distinguished reputation both in the UK and overseas and has received numerous accolades and awards for projects across its business sectors.

Guests from across Pell Frischmann’s client base and industry peers joined the Chairman Dr WW Frischmann and Chief Executive Mr SS Prabhu for the celebrations held at the Wallace Collection in Manchester Square in London.

The consultancy has recently been awarded an array of high profile projects including various buildings with the University of Oxford and major framework contracts with the Royal Mail, Highways Agency, First Group, English Partnerships, Thames Water and Transport for London. On the international front, recent successes include contracts for the new Delhi International Airport, Delhi Metro, Bucharest Historic Zone extension and concept design for the Abu Dhabi Central Market. To cope with demand, the company now employs over 1000 skilled personnel based in over 20 design and project offices in the UK and overseas.

This year the firm received a special honour in terms of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise which was awarded to its Middle Eastern division, Conseco International for its remarkable increase in International Trade. In addition, Pell Frischmann also won the Consultant of the Year Outstanding Achievement Award, convened by the New Civil Engineer (NCE) magazine and the Association of Consultants and Engineers (ACE).
