Paneltex's expertise at manufacturing innovative refrigerated bodies is generally recognised within the transport industry, however at this year's TCS&D Show, held recently in Peterborough, the success of the Company was highlighted when they won two major awards at the prestigious TCS&D Awards dinner, in front of a packed audience representing the UK temperature controlled transport industry.
A surprised Chris Berridge, founder and Managing Director of the Company, received the coveted 'Lifetime Achievement' award in recognition of his contribution towards the technological advancement of the industry.
On receiving the award, Chris Berridge said, "The presentation of this award definitely caught me unawares, however, to be recognised by industry colleagues is extremely gratifying, and I genuinely would like to thank everyone at 'TCS&D' as well as the judging panel for the award."
This was then followed by Paneltex Sales Director Dave Evenett collecting a second award for the Company during the evening when he picked up the award for 'Refrigerated Panel Van of the Year', on behalf of Group Company, Paneltex Somers.
"To collect a second award during the evening was the icing on the cake for us and recognises the hard work and devotion of the staff at Paneltex Somers, where week in and week out, they manufacture refrigerated van conversions to the highest standards. This award is for them," said Chris Berridge.
On the Paneltex stand within the TCS&D Show itself, Paneltex displayed a selection of vehicles that demonstrated their longstanding and deserving reputation for designing and manufacturing innovative products ranging from an exciting new 10.95m urban reefer trailer through to a selection of panel van conversions and refrigerated box bodied vehicles.
