Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network has strengthened its UK team by appointing Dave Walmsley as Member and Network Development Director.
Dave joins Palletways from Lyreco, a worldwide distributor of workplace products, and will be responsible for ensuring the continuous development and growth of the Palletways UK network and its 106 members.
Before joining Palletways, Dave was Lyreco’s Group Commercial Director and had been with the company for 25 years. In his previous role, he was responsible for overseeing commercial operations across 28 countries in Europe and Asia and leading a team of over 4,000 sales people and call centre employees.
“Palletways has got a great reputation in the UK and across Europe and the business is doing extremely well.” said Dave.
“I look forward to working with the team here at Fradley and all the members across the country and I am excited to join a business with a clear vision and desire for growth.”
This appointment follows a strong year for Palletways’ UK and European operations as the Group unveils the creation of a new central hub in Lichfield which is already fully operational and will increase capacity by 8,000 pallets per day.

Palletways delivers to 20 European destinations, which is more than any other pallet distributor, and the network consists of 400 depots across Europe of which more than 100 are in the UK.
