Palletways members go Platinum for 2016
Over twenty Palletways UK members were presented with a coveted Platinum Club Award at the company’s recent June 2016 packed Operations Conferences in Glasgow and Winchester.
The Platinum Awards recognise outstanding performance, operational excellence and first class levels of service for customers – qualities which support Palletways to operate as the largest palletised freight network in Europe.
Luis Zubialde, Managing Director Palletways UK, said, “The reason why Palletways is the market leader is because of the dedication and desire of our members to strive for better customer satisfaction and higher pallet volumes. This is our chance to thank and reward our members for their work over the last twelve months.
“But all of our members are winners in my eyes. All are open to the new ideas that will result in on-going improvement. All are willing to engage with Palletways management to tell us how we can support the business to improve. We’ve a strong partnership that will continue to deliver service excellence.”
Attendees at the conferences heard how over the previous year both pallet volumes and customer satisfaction levels have increased to record levels. Member turnover is also at a seven-year record low.
Palletways handles more than 23,000 pallets daily across the UK. One in every four pallets handled by palletised freight networks in the UK is distributed by Palletways.

Everybody played their part. The award comes as we have just celebrated our fifth anniversary at H&M Distribution Gloucester and is in recognition of everybody’s hard work.”
