Palletforce member turns back time at historical rally

A Surrey transport firm has taken part in a huge 56 mile rally of historical vehicles.

Palletforce member, Horley Services Group Ltd, based in Salfords Industrial Estate, showcased its 1932 vintage Chevy at the London to Brighton Historic Commercial Vehicle Rally.

"Horley Services group has taken part in the rally since 1990 and I have been involved for the past four years and it's always a fantastic day out," said Andrew McCormack from Horley Services Group.

"Hundreds of historic vehicles of all shapes and sizes are lined up along the seafront and it's just an amazing sight to see."

The 1932 Chevy is based at the firm's depot and is also used as part of the annual Lord Mayor's Show in London.

Horley Services Group is a fourth generation family-run firm and part of Palletforce, the UK's leading palletised distribution network.

Since 1958 when it was established the firm has grown steadily and now specialises in pallet deliveries throughout the UK and Europe.
