Hussain has extensive sales and retail experience, having started his career in the sales team at Mars Group, before moving to the role of national account manager in the retail division of Constellation Brands. He later headed up the convenience sector for Energizer Wilkinson Sword and most recently worked in the business development team within Barclays, where highlights included winning football club Manchester United as an account.
LPR, which was acquired by Euro Pool System in 2011, is celebrating its 10th year trading in the UK in 2012/13. As commercial manager, Hussain will work closely with LPR UK managing director Jane Gorick to develop a sales growth strategy to support the business' aim to more than double in size over the next five years.
Hussain said: "When I was introduced to the LPR team, I was really impressed with the passion and commitment that was demonstrated by people at all levels. I hope to be able to complement the existing skills and add real value to the business as it grows over the coming months and years. LPR is the number two pallet pooling operator with two decades of experience operating across a number of key European markets and I am excited to be involved in supporting the business in taking it to the next level."
