Alexander Exner resigns as Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Alexander Doujak nominated to be elected new Chairman


Alexander Exner, who has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PALFINGER AG since 2003, will retire as Chairman in the next meeting of the Board to be held in mid-December 2010. Alexander Doujak, member of the Supervisory Board, has been nominated for election as the new Chairman.


Alexander Exner's relationship with PALFINGER goes back over 35 years. In the 1990s he was CEO of Palfinger Holding AG. After the establishment of PALFINGER AG he became Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board and has been the Board's Chairman since 2003.


Exner says that the reason for his retirement was a generation change in the Board that has been planned and prepared for a long time. In the next meeting of the Board, Alexander Doujak is to be elected as the new Chairman.


Alexander Doujak, born in 1965, is a corporate consultant who has been familiar with the PALFINGER Group for 15 years when acting in a consulting capacity for the Group and has held a seat on the Supervisory Board of PALFINGER AG since 2006.
