NORTH west haulage company Fagan and Whalley have revamped their website to allow clients to place orders online.
The family-run firm, who are founder members of Palletforce, the UK's leading palletised distribution network, has overhauled its website to include a client log-in section to make it even easier for clients to place orders.
The old website for Fagan and Whalley, who are based in Padiham near Burnley, had only two pages of information and no way for clients to place orders.
Sam Fagan, from Fagan and Whalley, said: "Clients can now log in through their portal and add their orders to our system whereas before they would have to email or phone us.
"Orders are placed directly into our TMS Orchestrator or Palletforce Alliance depending on the type of freight and whether label printing is required.
"The new website is more user-friendly and has a lot more information about the company including a news section, a gallery and extended reference and links to Palletforce.
"We wanted to move with the times and have a special section for clients to log in, which is of great benefit to them."
As well as the website Fagan and Whalley have invested in two new vehicles - a double deck trailer and an 18-tonne rigid - in Palletforce livery, with further vehicles in Palletforce livery planned to follow later this year.
These latest additions take their fleet up to 110 vehicles and 215 trailers.
Sam added: "The investment in our fleet is part of our continual improvement and upgrade of our vehicles.
"It was also necessary to help us cope with the demand through the Palletforce network."
