NYK Logistics (UK) Ltd has launched a new less-than-container-load (LCL) service from South East Asia to the UK.
This weekly service utilises NYK's in-house non vessel-operating common carrier (NVOCC), Double Wing Express (DWE). It collects from Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore's feeder ports.
The service uses Southampton as its port of destination. Onward distribution is offered throughout the UK via NYK's nationwide coverage.
With NYK responsible for the cargo from its origin to its final destination, customers can be confident in the safe handling, rapid de-vanning and onward delivery of their goods throughout the UK.
Shipment visibility is provided by means of NYK's in-house track-and-trace system. NYK also offers a comprehensive Customs-clearance service.
