SSI Schaefer has appointed Bill Meecham as National Accounts Manager with the aim of further securing high profile contracts within the materials handling industry and strengthening the Schaefer Systems Group.
Meecham brings to Schaefer over 34 years' experience with an impressive record of achievement in solution selling across the industry. The secret to his success is in his ability to adapt and work within a number of areas, including project sales and managing distributor networks through the provision of sales, marketing and training expertise.
Schaefer's global presence is sure to be reinforced with the appointment of Meecham due to the fact that a large part of his working background has been spent within Europe. Meecham has developed many strong, professional-working partnerships and is conversant with European cultural diversity, building relationships and using his influencing skills to achieve results.
Outside of work, Meecham is a keen composer of music and an avid football and cricket fan. He said:
