At the Executive Hire Show (EHS) in February 2013, Doosan Portable Power will be showcasing the latest developments in the company's portable compressor range with the availability of the new 7/26E+ and 7/31E+ portable compressors, equipped with the 'Tough Top' polymer canopy.
The display on the EHS stand will also feature the Bobcat range of micro- and mini-excavators, part of the leading Bobcat range that also compact loaders, telehandlers, utility vehicles and attachments. Completing the display will be Montabert breakers and other attachments for use on all makes of compact equipment.
As well as offering outstanding durability, the Tough Top canopy is also non-corrodible and can be supplied in customer colours. The new Yanmar-powered 7/26E+ and 7/31+ models supply 2.5 and 3.0 m3/min of compressed air at 7 bar output pressure, respectively and complement the 7/41+ Tough Top model launched in 2010. Like the 7/41+, they have an intuitive, simple key-start sequence, ideal for plant and tool hire companies because of the reduced risk of machine abuse by untrained operators. Serviceability is also excellent, with easy access to all maintenance points.
The Tough Top 7/26E+, 7/31E+ and 7/41+ models are part of a complete line of portable compressors from Doosan Portable Power comprising 24 different models, with free air deliveries between 2 and 45 m³/min and operating pressures between 7 and 25 bar. Doosan Portable Power also offers a comprehensive range of portable generators and lighting products for the plant and tool hire industry. Completing the line-up are construction tools such as air-powered chipping hammers, pickhammers, jackhammers and paving breakers for work in demolition, utilities, quarrying and industrial markets.
Ideal for Plant and Tool Hire Companies
Like the Doosan Portable Power range, the Bobcat range of micro- and mini-excavators is ideally suited to the needs of the plant and tool hire industry. The EHS stand will feature the easy-to-transport E08 and E10 micro-excavators, the smallest models in the Bobcat range. The E08 micro-excavator is a conventional model with a machine weight of 1028 kg and a maximum digging depth of 1.82 m. The E10 model is a zero tail swing micro-excavator with a maximum digging depth of 1.82 m and a machine weight of 1066 kg.
Both of the micro-excavators have a retractable undercarriage that takes the width of the machine down to only 710 mm, allowing easy access through a standard pedestrian doorway for work inside buildings or entry into back yards and gardens through narrow gates. In addition, passage through low headroom openings is aided by the integrated foldable TOPS on both machines.
The Montabert range offers tools for use on machines as diverse as compact loaders and 90 tonne excavators, with a comprehensive selection from hydraulic breakers to crusher buckets, covering every application in demolition and recycling from primary and secondary demolition to handling, sorting and recycling. There are nine models in the Montabert Silver Clip hydraulic breaker range running from the 65 kg SC-6 model to the 500 kg SC-50 breaker for carriers ranging from 700 kg to 14 tonne.
