A modified Samuk HJ15E 3-wheel electric forklift has been able to solve a tight access problem for a Northamptonshire based furniture company.
John Parkins of Wellingborough imports and markets a wide range of cane furniture and was looking for a machine able to manoeuvre within the confines of a narrow, 'drive through' racking system in its warehouse. The company had been told by one potential supplier that no conventional forklift would be capable of undertaking the task.
However, Stantone Mechanical Handling of Northampton came to the rescue by offering to modify the over headguard framework of one of Samuk's new 'H' Series models and obtain the necessary certificate to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Bill Burke, John Parkins' group warehouse manager says “Stantone has done a great job for us in providing an excellent solution to our access problem and carried out the all necessary work both quickly and efficiently.”
The 1.5 tonne capacity HR15 comes from Samuk's latest range of forklifts which are manufactured by Hangzhou, the second largest forklift company in China. The trucks are well-engineered using many European origin components and have been designed very much with service engineers in mind with excellent access for maintenance.
