MISUMI Europe adds standard precision positioning stages to its product range

MISUMI Europe has extended its range to include standard precision positioning stages: there are now 22 new products with ready-to-install solutions available for even more areas of application. The solutions provide economical alternatives to complex, timely and costly self-assembly.


In addition to the sub-systems with high precision level, listed in the current catalogue, MISUMI also added standard precision positioning stages to its product range at the beginning of March. The stages were designed for use in areas with slightly lower but still sufficient level of precision requirements in relation to rectitude, parallelism and parallelism of movement. This opens up additional areas of application, for which solutions previously had to be developed in line with the "self-construction brand", or for which only oversized products were available as a ready-to-install system. The standard precision positioning stages are ideally suited as adjustment elements for testing and assembly as well as for handling measuring devices, testing equipment and the like; for visual, experimental use, stages with a higher degree of precision are more suitable.


Thanks to the rationalisation of the functions and degree of precision, the new models are 25 to 45 percent cheaper than items with higher precision requirements and are also available more quickly: they can be delivered within six working days and are RoHS-compliant. A total of 22 models make up this group of standard precision positioning stages: three stages with cross roller guides available in three sizes, three pinion drive stages with dove tail guides available in three sizes and two pinion drive stages with dove tail guides for long movements available in two sizes.


MISUMI has also released a 10-page brochure to supplement the main catalogue, including the new standard precision positioning stages along with all necessary technical and commercial information and various application examples
