Toolbank has just added another three fuel-efficient Sprinter 313 CDIs to its 112-strong delivery fleet, which is dominated by vehicles bearing the three-pointed star.
The company operates from headquarters in Dartford, Kent, and a network of depots nationwide. Its new Medium-length vans are based in Halesowen, West Midlands – they were supplied and will be serviced by the Kidderminster branch of Rygor, Britain’s largest Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealer group.
Toolbank, which stocks more than 25,000 branded tools and other items of equipment, purchased its first Sprinter in 1996. Like all Mercedes-Benz Vans, the vehicles it relies on to distribute its products to retailers and other customers are covered by market-leading three-year, unlimited mileage warranties.
What’s more, because they are maintained within the manufacturer’s UK Dealer Network, they come with reassuring MobiloVan cover which runs for 30 years and includes free Service 24h emergency roadside assistance.
Toolbank also takes out Mercedes-Benz Service Care contracts under which all parts, lubricants and labour costs required in routine maintenance are covered by fixed monthly payments.
These competitively priced agreements – over the course of which each van will typically cover up to 50,000 miles per year – allow Fleet Manager Richard Cope to budget with confidence.
