Forget 'outward bound' courses, Leeds-based firm, Masternaut Three X, has come up with an exciting new incentive that is set to change the lives of a number of its employees.
The vehicle-tracking firm is offering workers that smoke a GBP 2500 bonus to kick the habit .If they successfully quit, half of the bonus will go straight into their bank accounts, and the other GBP 1250 will be given to Cancer Research.
What's more, the offer is available to not one, but all smokers that sign up to the scheme, which could result in up to GBP 25,000 being handed out.

should be applauded for its commitment to its staff's health and wellbeing. We hope that those who take part in this scheme are able to succeed in this six month challenge and use it as an opportunity to quit smoking for good."
The company is committed to its workforce, and has already won a number of accolades for its commitment to its employees and innovative employment policies. It believes its team hold the key to its phenomenal success as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, and enjoys coming up with unusual ways to motivate and excite workers.

services sector to receive the accolade.
The 'cash for quitters' scheme, which has the approval of all of Masternaut Three X's 200 employees, has been designed to positively support its team that want to give up for good. As well as offering the reward for successful quitters, it will also host weekly forums where the quitters can meet and discuss their progress. It will recruit the help of professional support services and invite guest speakers to help keep the quitters on track. The company also has an internal care team, which is a supportive mentoring system; so all workers can be involved in the initiative.
To qualify for the Masternaut Three X 'Cash For Quitters' incentive, the smokers must be habitual smokers, who smoke 10 or more cigarettes every day. They must stop smoking completely on 1 June, and remain stopped until 31
December '08. As a reflection of the company ethos of trust and support, the candidates will be asked to sign a pledge that they will attempt to do this for
charity and themselves, and they will be asked to be honest about their accomplishment.
Martin Port, Managing Director of Masternaut Three X says: "We believe strongly in looking after our people, who we think are the greatest source of competitive advantage. At the end of the day, nothing is more important than the health and wellbeing of our colleagues. So, not only are we working to reduce the vehicle emissions of our customers - but we're also working with our team to bring down their own smoke emissions."
Robert Sanders, Customer Service Advisor who currently smokes 20 cigarettes a day says: "I'm taking part in the scheme. The cash reward along with the contribution to charity has given me the motivation and a compelling reason to quit".
