MAC’s Truck Sales and Rental makes impressive debut at Scotplant 2016
To support its growing truck sales and rental business in Scotland, Mac’s Truck Sales is making its debut at Scotplant 2016 in April with an impressive five vehicle display at the two-day event that includes a varied selection of the latest Euro VI trucks from its dedicated commercial vehicle truck sales and rental fleet.
Forming the centre piece of the Mac’s stand will be a Scania R510 tractor unit featuring an 82 tonne crane designed specifically for heavy duty plant and equipment. Highlighting the scope of Mac’s design and engineering facility for specialised vehicles, the Fassi F820 RA.2.26 cab mounted crane on this special 510 hp Scania tractor unit has a reach of up to 16m and a lifting capacity of 3970kg.
Mac’s will also be featuring a DAF L220 Euro VI 18tonne rigid chassis that is specified with a popular and versatile VDL skip loader body, together with the new VDL sheeting system. Alongside this brand new skip vehicle will be another DAF, this time a 32t DAF 8x4 rigid chassis that features a VDL hook lifter body and sheeting system.
Completing the five vehicle line-up are two more Scania rigid trucks. Alongside this is a second Scania 32t 8x4 rigid with this vehicle featuringa Mac’s Trucks designed beavertail body for heavy plant transportation.
Mac’s Truck Sales & Rental organisation is a long established family company based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and the company has recently invested over £10 million in brand-new vehicles as part of its expanding vehicle sales and rental programme, promising immediate availability of vehicles for short, medium and long term rental customers as well as truck models for outright purchase.
