Logistics UK unveils game-changing risk module for fleet operators

Logistics UK has unveiled the latest addition to its Vision compliance suite

Only 23% of risk and compliance professionals feel confident in the accuracy and usefulness of their risk management data, with a mere 5% very confident in applying it to decision-making, according to recent research surveying over 300 global experts.

Addressing this urgent need for clearer, actionable insights, Logistics UK has unveiled the latest addition to its Vision compliance suite: the new ‘Risk’ module.

This innovative module, now available to Vision users, consolidates data from across the platform—including tachograph analysis, PCNs, vehicle inspections, training records, licence checks, collision data, operator licensing, and telematics—into a unified dashboard that generates an overall business risk score.

By focusing on three critical areas—asset, employee, and organisation risk—the module aims to provide transport operators with a comprehensive overview of the greatest threats to their business performance.

“Forewarned is forearmed,” said Jemma James, Digital Development Director at Logistics UK. “Actively monitoring risk indicators gives businesses valuable time to address potential issues before they impact operations and the bottom line.”

Vision Risk presents its insights through an intuitive dashboard, featuring familiar graphs and charts that simplify complex risk analyses.

Real-time data on inspections, service history, collisions, driving style, staff turnover, and environmental factors equips operators with a clear understanding of their operational risk levels.

Drawing on over 40 configurable data sources, the module integrates seamlessly with all Vision data components and external APIs from partners such as Samsara, AddSecure, and GeoTab.

Ms James added: “The new module complies fully with GDPR and ISO 27001 standards and includes tailored reporting and alerting features to ensure usability and peace of mind.

"Operators can now consolidate complex compliance data into a single, unified view—helping to prevent costly incidents and maintain compliance with minimal effort. This is risk intelligence built for real-world logistics.”

Backed by expert human support from Logistics UK’s Member Advice Centre and Policy team, Vision remains at the forefront of regulatory guidance and legislation.

As one of the UK’s largest business groups representing the logistics sector—which employs over seven million people—Logistics UK continues to support vital supply chains across the country.

The Vision platform, known for its flexibility, precision, and scalability, manages compliance and operations through a single easy-to-use portal.

Alongside the Risk module, it covers tachograph analysis, licence checks, vehicle and walkaround inspections, PCN analysis, audits, and training.
