Logistics UK says the move will strengthen support for members
Logistics UK has expanded its digital capabilities with the launch of a new business unit dedicated to enhancing its Vision compliance platform, appointing Jemma James as Director of Partnerships and Digital Services to lead the development.
The new unit will oversee the continued evolution of the organisation’s Vision suite — a set of digital tools widely used by logistics operators to streamline compliance, manage risk and improve operational oversight. Logistics UK says the move will strengthen support for members while accelerating innovation across its digital services.
Acting Chief Executive Kevin Green said Vision already provides “transformational support” to many operators, helping them simplify compliance processes. He noted that new features launched this year — including licence-checking and driver risk modules — had added measurable value for users. Green said ongoing investment would ensure Vision “remains the market leader in on-site compliance”, giving members the tools to carry out essential checks “simply and efficiently”.
In her new role, Ms James will take responsibility for both existing and new commercial partnerships, as well as driving product extensions that improve the platform’s functionality for members.
She said the organisation’s mission is focused on “how we can do more for our members”, adding that bringing service units together would accelerate the support and guidance provided through digital tools. The team will also work on building new strategic partnerships designed to help members “deliver for their own customers”.
Ms James said the goal was to make the Vision compliance platform a comprehensive “one-stop shop” for compliance services, backed by strong support and on-site compliance expertise.
