LINPAC Storage Systems has opened an office in Scotland and is currently the only British storage manufacturer to have a dedicated Scottish facility. Headed up by the company's newly appointed national sales manager for Scotland and Ireland, Andy Barrie, the office is located in Glenburn House, East Kilbride, Glasgow.
Born in Scotland and currently living near to the LINPAC offices in East Kilbride, Barrie joins LINPAC Storage Systems having spent the last 23 years working in the storage industry. "Opening an office in Scotland is yet another triumph for LINPAC," he comments. "The company is leading the way by bringing its resources up here, demonstrating its strong commitment to growing this area of their business. Scottish companies expect a local service and that's what we are now in a position to give them."
He continues, "The storage market in Scotland is strongly entrenched in a distributor network and we can offer that network competitively priced, UK manufactured products backed up by locally based design expertise and administration. It is our intention to support the distributor network to grow a mutually beneficial business.

Barrie was recruited by LINPAC working in conjunction with Storey Huish Resourcing Ltd, the Leeds based specialist executive search consultancy to the storage and handling industry.
