LINPAC Storage Systems has appointed Graham Whalley as National Shelving Sales Manager to take control of the company's new Shelving Division.
Already established as one of the leading British manufacturers of racking, LINPAC has launched the new division as part of the strategic plan to develop the shelving side of its business. With his specialist shelving expertise, Whalley was seen as the ideal candidate to drive this area of the business forward.
He was recruited by LINPAC working in conjunction with Storey Huish Resourcing Ltd, the Leeds based specialist executive search consultancy to the storage and handling industry. Managing director of the consultancy, Charles Storey, comments "Working with LINPAC has given us the opportunity to fully understand the high expectations that the company has in terms of the calibre of staff they seek to join them.
"In this instance LINPAC was looking for a very specific candidate to fill the role and Graham's personal profile and industry experience was an excellent match for the post. Stepping up to a management role is a natural progression in his career path."
Whalley's key responsibilities are to build on LINPAC's existing shelving business in addition to researching, designing and developing new shelving products. This will expand the company's shelving offering into new markets. He remarks, "LINPAC Storage Systems is well respected within the industry for
