LINPAC Allibert extends its range of large attached lid containers

LINPAC Allibert, global expert in plastic returnable transit packaging for the food, retail, storage and distribution and manufacturing sectors, has extended its range of large attached lid containers (ALCs) with a selection of large tamper proof containers that is ideal for the storage and removals sector and for the movement of high value goods.

The highly durable containers can hold loads of up to 50 kg. As well is being impact resistant, the smooth internal surfaces and attached lid protect goods and make it easy to nest the containers to minimise the space they take up in return transit.

Re-useable for around seven years, the containers also help companies to minimise their impact on the environment and help them to comply with packaging waste legislation, reducing both carbon footprint and costs.

Available features include a tamper-evident security seal, RFID compatibility, textured areas for removable labels, an integral lid that cannot be lost or removed and wide contoured hand holds designed to help reduce the risk of back injuries. In addition the containers can also be printed with the owner's logo and messaging.

There are two 80 litre green containers in the range, one with drain holes and one without, plus a 138 litre container, a 160 litre container and a 135 litre container, all in red, that can be fitted with tamper evident seals or cable/pull through security ties.

Danilo Oliynik, commercial director at LINPAC Allibert commented: "These containers represent a valuable addition to the range. The fact that they are able to save an average 75 per cent space on vehicles has the potential to have a significant impact on fuel savings in the return supply chain and their durability means they can play a vital long-term role in helping companies to manage their costs more efficiently, keeping them competitive in tough global markets, whilst enabling them to minimise their environmental impact."
