KNAPP to showcase its logistics expertise at two specialist exhibitions

Warehouse automation provider, KNAPP UK Ltd, will be promoting its innovative solutions and vast logistics know-how at both the Packaging Innovations show in February and the Internet Retailing Expo in March.

Both exhibitions will take place at Birmingham's NEC, with Packaging Innovations on 26 & 27 February and Internet Retailing following a month later on 26 & 27 March. Explains Craig Rollason, Managing Director of KNAPP UK Ltd, "By participating in these two niche exhibitions, we will have the opportunity to bring our solutions to the attention of a more focused audience and demonstrate our particular expertise in these sectors."

In packaging, KNAPP has integrated innovative systems that allow the closed height of standard delivery cartons to be tailored to the actual contents, thus optimising the use of vehicle space and resulting in considerable cost savings. These will be explained on KNAPP's stand (H13) at Packaging Innovations. In addition, the ergonomically designed workstations of KNAPP's Pick-it-Easy range are customised to the packaging requirements of particular industries including, for example, groceries and fashion.

Having recently secured an order from the leading online retailer in the Netherlands, wehkamp.nl, to realise the automated handling systems for its new distribution centre in Zwolle, KNAPP has unrivalled know-how in logistics for e-commerce. The company has also delivered successful solutions in the UK for John Lewis, Boots and Ocado. On stand F37 at the Internet Retailing Expo, KNAPP will promote its market-leading OSR ShuttleTM automated storage and retrieval system - with more than 10,000 shuttles supplied to over 150 sites worldwide - as well as its award-winning Pick-it-Easy Pocket solution, an overhead conveyor system that is ideal for multichannel distribution centres.
