Hugh Dennis to headline Logistics UK’s Annual Awards

Now in its ninth year, the event has become a fixture in the logistics calendar

Award-winning comedian, actor and presenter Hugh Dennis will provide the entertainment at the Logistics Awards 2025, set to take place on Thursday 11 December at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.

Now in its ninth year, the event has become a fixture in the logistics calendar, recognising individuals and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to the sector over the past 12 months. Entries cover every transport mode — road, rail, sea and air — along with manufacturers, logistics providers and supporting industries.

Kevin Green, Acting Chief Executive of Logistics UK, said: “The Logistics Awards 2025 give us all the opportunity to reflect on the past year and celebrate the triumphs and achievements in the logistics industry. They are the only awards for the industry and by the industry, with all transport modes and supporting industries represented. It is fantastic that Hugh Dennis will be providing the laughs and with our highest number of award entries this year it really is an event not to be missed.”

Dennis first made his name in the 1980s as one half of the comedy duo Punt and Dennis, later gaining national recognition during the 1990s comedy boom as part of The Mary Whitehouse Experience. He has remained a familiar face on stage and screen ever since, with recent credits including Outnumbered, Fleabag, Midsomer Murders and Not Going Out.

Alongside entertainment from Dennis, guests at the awards evening can expect a champagne reception, three-course meal and dancing late into the night. The event is sponsored by Brigade Electronics, Close Brothers, Flexis, Howard Tenens Logistics, Logistics UK Recovery Service, Port of Dover and Wise.
