Haines is new FTA President

Andy Haines, Head of Logistics at Tate & Lyle Sugars Europe, is the new President of the Freight Transport Association, succeeding John Russell of John G Russell (Transport) Ltd of Glasgow. Haines has been a Vice President of FTA for the last twelve months.

Andy Haines joined Tate & Lyle in 1979, and as an area manager for United Molasses looked after a number of trading and operational interests in the Middle East, Eastern, Southern and West Africa, and in Brazil.
