George Henderson Group recruits Non-Executive Director

Supply chain recruitment specialist, George Henderson Group, has appointed Jim Spittle as a Non-Executive Director. With over 30 years experience in retailing, manufacturing and supply chain management, Jim brings with him a detailed understanding of the latest developments in international retail and supply chains.

Currently Supply Chain Director of the Dixons Group, Jim has also held senior supply chain management roles with blue chip companies such as Whitbread, Kingfisher, Tesco, Grand Metropolitan and Imperial Tobacco.

As a Non-Executive Director at George Henderson Group, Jim will focus on the strategic development of the business and implement new strategies to identify prospective candidates for the benefit of new and existing clients.

Jim is a key contributor at international industry conferences, seminars and workshops in his capacity as Chairman, speaker or participant. He is also Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and is on the advisory board of Cranfield University Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (CLSCM).
