These additions, made by B&B Attachments, cover all of the major market sectors, allowing them to service more national hire requests than ever before. This month's development follows the official re-launch of the company's Hire Department in January of this year. This included a number of positive steps, which will assist them in their goal to become the market-leader.
Neal Fowler, Sales Director at B&B Attachments, talks through the reasoning behind these initial changes:
"At the close of last year, we decided to develop the Hire side of our business further, to become the natural partner of choice for forklift truck industry. We want to provide our customers with the best support, so our first step was to improve our point of contact by offering a single source for all enquiries and quotations. Sally Morton, who has over seven years of experience with our company, was promoted internally to the role of Hire Controller."
Full servicing, maintenance and call-out services are included within the B&B hire pricing. To facilitate the efficient delivery of this unique aftersales service, additional engineering staff have been employed, both in the workshop and in the field. Prices are monitored closely, so that the rates remain highly competitive, and the B&B team have completed Customer Service training, to make sure they are offering the best care.
Sally Morton enthuses about the new developments:
"This month's addition of the 100 new attachments to our range gives B&B's customers access to a 2500 piece fleet, which is fantastic. Since the re-launch, we've had an upturn in orders, confirming to us that our customers are benefitting from our new approach. The increase in fleet size will help us to service new requests, and be even more flexible with our customers. The attachments we have chosen complement our main customer-base, including such markets as retail, brewing, logistics and manufacturing.
"This year marks a very exciting time for the B&B Hire Department. We have a lot planned to ensure our customers are guaranteed excellent service at all times. We won't reveal everything that's in-store, but later in the year our new website will be launched. This will include special features specifically for hire customers which have been designed to make gaining access to the right attachments as simplistic and hassle-free as possible.
