Leading corrugated packaging and promotional display manufacturer Charapak has received accreditation from the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC), demonstrating the company's support of responsible forest management and underlining its commitment to sound environmental practices.
The FSC accreditation provides assurance that all boxes, cartons and display material produced by Charapak can be guaranteed to originate from well managed forests.
The Forestry Stewardship Council is an international organisation which encourages solutions that promote responsible stewardship of the world's forests. Its Chain of Custody (COC) certification provides a guarantee about the production of FSC-certified products and encompasses the path taken by raw materials from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution.
Charapak offers a complete design, manufacturing and printing service for a wide range of corrugated packaging and display requirements, including retail ready solutions and assistance with co-packing and fulfilment.
"This is an important achievement," comments Managing Director Richard Smith. "The environment is a vital consideration in any packaging or display solution today and FSC accreditation demonstrates our commitment to this."
