The two latest trucks supplied by Euroway to high tech metal distributor Super Alloys of Milton Keynes both feature curtain sided bodies with cabriolet roofs to facilitate the loading of long bars and metals using overhead cranes that access the truck bodies via the roof.
One DAF LF45 7.5t rigid and one DAF LF55 10t rigid have joined the distribution fleet at Super Alloys International Ltd on a four-year contract hire deal with Euroway that includes full repair and maintenance for the duration of the contract.
Explaining the decision to acquire vehicles through Euroway, Roman Kerridge from Super Alloys said, "our distribution operation is key to providing customers with the most efficient delivery schedules and Euroway gave us the optimum deal for these two new additional vehicles. So successful has this initial deal been that we are now working with them on a further vehicle deal that also involves specialist bodywork."
Super Alloys supplies most of the world's leading engine and airframe manufacturers as well as leading F1 motor industry teams with a range of high-tech metals, using the new trucks for rapid delivery operations that reduce leadtimes and eliminate costly production delays for their extensive client base.
