Following a competitive tender process DX has selected Metafour's NetCourier as
the core system behind its new Client Kit offering. DX were looking for a
reliable and cost effective system to further develop their services to over
16,000 businesses and organisations, including companies such as Argos, Vision
Express and Thomas Cook.
The web based application gives DX customers easy access to control and manage
their consignments without the need for DX to supply and maintain desktop kit.
Clients can login and manage their assignments directly.
Andrew Raisbeck, Marketing Director at DX commented, "The NetCourier system
gives us a single unified system for the whole organisation allowing multiple
departments access to the same information source: accounts for billing; Account
Managers for SLA compliance; as well as management for reports and
reconciliations for multiple users at DX. It also gives us the platform upon
which we can offer our customers many new services in the future and means
upgrades and enhancements can be automatically rolled out helping to eliminate
errors and delays."
Amir Ibrahim, Metafour's Director of Logistics Technology, said, "We are
obviously pleased to have won this contract and that DX has selected the
NetCourier system. It also gives us the opportunity to roll out our technology
to a broader market. The functionality of NetCourier gives DX a flexible and
sound base upon which we can help develop the Client Kit system for their
customers. We know Netcourier can easily support DX's client base handling 35
million transactions each year and look forward to working closely with DX over
the coming years.
