DSV Solutions new GDP Passport Certified Company

DSV Solutions Limited was awarded the IEA Life Sciences Ireland Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Passport by the Irish Exporters Association last week.

The Good Distribution Practices Passport Scheme' main objective is helping to ensure that Ireland remains the preferred location for Life Sciences companies to develop, manufacture and distribute their products internationally.

"DSV Solutions is delighted to be awarded the prestigious GDP Passport from the IEA Life Sciences Ireland. The strength of the Pharmaceutical Life Sciences industry in Ireland over the last fifty years has been predominantly built on strong regulation which is overseen by the Irish Medicines Board. Highly trained, procedure orientated staff implement these standards in all manufacturing companies within the sector," said Michael Doyle, Director of DSV Solutions.

John Whelan, CEO of the Irish Exporters Association stated at the awards ceremony; "The pharmaceutical, medical devices and bio- technology industry is now Ireland's biggest export sector, and relies heavily on the ability of its logistics partners to safely and securely get their products to international markets. DSV has shown through its commitment to the GDP training process that it is and intends to remain one of the key logistics partners to the life sciences industry".
