The Institute is establishing a new Forum that meets 3-4 times a year, to develop the financial and environmental benefits to be derived from benchmarking performance across warehousing and truck and van fleets. The plan is to engage speakers, inform current benchmarking activities and platforms, and show how benchmarking outputs can be best used to bring about change and improvements for the benefit of members and the profession.
Potential Hot Topics
The following are initial topics that CILT Members may wish to review within the Forum. The wider 'agenda' for the Forum will be decided by Forum members during the first few meetings and these will evolve alongside the development of the Forum.
Background to benchmarking
Benefits of benchmarking
Selecting KPIs
Data sources and transfer
Target setting

Benchmarking tools
Suggestions for other topics will be gratefully received and debated in producing the 'agenda' for the Forum.
