Following Cranfield's selection recently to lead three (with involvement in a further two), of the nine new EPSRC Centres for Innovative Manufacturing across the UK, the University is set to further reinforce its reputation in this growing sector with the launch of a new Masters course in Manufacturing Technology and Management.
The UK Government's manufacturing strategy is focused on high value manufacturing, which is seen as critical to economic growth. A significant number of highly trained manufacturing engineers will be essential to provide the leadership skills necessary to drive UK manufacturing forward and provide the vision for future success. The rapid growth in technology also presents an opportunity for re-skilling for professionals already in industry.
The MSc in Manufacturing Technology and Management draws on the University's world-leading expertise in manufacturing to develop professionals with the ability to transform knowledge into action. The course provides students with the breadth of both technical and business skills to make a real impact in their career.
